Pharmacist gets 6 years prison, forfeits nearly $1 million for role in painkiller scheme

A pharmacist was sentenced this week to six years in prison for his role in a scheme to distribute addictive, medically unnecessary painkillers, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.
