Berry, the namesake for the Michael Berry Career Center in Dearbron and the former Berry Terminal — once an international terminal that closed in 2008 — at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, lived in Dearborn and was the first Muslim attorney of Arab decent to practice law in Michigan.
